My full name is Justin James Meza1 and I’m of Caucasian and Mexican descent. I grew up near Los Angeles, California, although I’m currently in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania working toward my Ph.D. at CMU.
These days, I spend all of my time performing research. I’m an avid music fan and when I used to have free time, I enjoyed playing the electric bass guitar and keyboard. I also enjoy art (oil paints and watercolors!), reading, writing, and, of course, programming :).
HP Labs did a little piece on me a while back, here, where I’m infamously described as “something of a foodie” :).

This site was created using the Hakyll tool for static site creation. I utilized the Solarized color scheme and, if you’re using a modern browser, you should be able to see the Graublau Sans Web fonts for the headings. I generated the IPA pronunciation of my last name using the AT&T TTS applet.
